What do I do when my system loses power?

If you lose power at your home during the storm, your system may be in a trouble condition. This is indicated by a repetitive beeping from the keypad. If your power is still out and it will not be back on for days, you should power your system down by disconnecting the battery in the main control and unplugging the AC transformer from the outlet it is plugged into. For help with this, contact our service department. If your power is back on and your keypad is still beeping, push the asterisk or status key, then enter 1 or disarm and your code then 1 or disarm and the code a second time. This should clear the beeping from the keypad. Your display may indicate a low battery condition. This is normal after an extended power outage because your backup battery was in use and will require about 24 hours to recharge.
